	48	Shopping Excursion with Jen Teach your Tandemite to dress stylishly and affordably! Your child and a friend will join Tandem teacher and style guru Jen Burstein on a half-day shopping adventure. Participants will visit Goodwill, ReThreads, Ike's Underground, and other thrift and vintage clothing stores in Charlottesville, where Jen will help students craft great Back-to-School outfits. This four hour excursion, leaving Tandem at 9 am and returning at 1, includes a coffee shop snack break and will be scheduled on a mutually agreeable day. Parents (or the students) are responsible for providing the funds for the clothes, but we're including two gift certificates to Rethreads (one for each participant). Rethreads aims to offer an eclectic mix of items--from vintage to current styles--with no emphasis on any particular style/era/designer to provide items for every fashionista.
