Yogasana and Meditation Workshop with Brett
Teresa of Avila famously said that, "The honey of bliss is in the hive of the heart." Meditation is a millennia-old practice that has many practical benefits, including having to sleep less, feeling more relaxed and whole, and being able to control the ever-straying mind. Meditation is tricky, however, as there is much misinformation about what meditation is, and how to "do" it. In fact, in the Dhammapada the Buddha asseverates that meditation is the most difficult practice one can do, period. Tandem parent and Latin teacher, Brett Brunner, who has been meditating now for over seven years, shares his knowledge concerning this time-honored technique for calming the sem. For up to three people. Nothing needed beyond a meditation cushion and an open mind. This session will last between ninety minutes and two hours and will include the practice of several meditation techniques in the hope that the workshop attendees will take home a utilitarian personal praxis.

Tandem Parent Kiki Hocking has her Masters degree from The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and is attuned to Reiki Master.
A session is typically 60-75 minutes long and includes Reiki, a hands-on healing method - with a blend of ancient rituals and psychological and spiritual counseling.
